Travel experts and the casual tourist agree–it’s hard to beat the “bang” that your buck gives you on a cruise. It’s hard to compete with the timeless sophistication of a solid colored swimsuit, but to really make your look pop, choose a style with fashionable accents. On the opposite end of the swimwear spectrum, retro styles are enjoying a definite revival this season. Think high-waisted bottoms, polka-dots, skirted swimdresses, and sweetheart necklines. This is a great look for a girl who wants to channel her inner Marilyn Monroe. Not only are these styles super chic and classy, but they’re also ultra-flattering for any figure. It’s a win-win!
In addition to your swimsuits, you can’t forget about the cover-ups, sandals, and accessories! Tunics, breezy caftans and maxi dresses are versatile cover-up options. For your tootsies, bring some flip-flops and comfy wedges. Finally for accessories, think chunky costume jewelry, floppy hats, fedoras, and sunglasses.
